Studio One 4.5 Vs Logic Pro X
Jan 09, 2019 To the people saying that no one uses FL Studio professionally; most hip hop producers use FL Studio. As far as which is better, I have experience with both so can offer an unbiased opinion. FL Studio - I learnt how to produce on FL Studio and hav. There's no dialogue box with a thousand permutations to work through before starting the import. We performed tests on AAFs from Pro Tools 11 and 12, Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro X. All of them came into Studio One without issue, although the importing of automation such as volume and pan was not always as expected. May 06, 2019 In this video, Ricky Molina compares the recent release of Cubase Pro 10 digital audio workstation vs. Persons Studio One Pro 4.0 Here is a link for the Excel spreadsheet mentioned in the video. Apple has announced a v10.4.5 software update for Logic Pro X, bringing the brand’s flagship DAW up to speed with the new Mac Pro’s tremendous processing power. Standout upgrades are a new mixer – capable of hosting audio 1,000 tracks – selective plug-in-loading as well as a refreshed version of the De-Esser plug-in. Really, Studio One 4 is a 1/2 point update as Studio One 3.5 was a major release too but, whatever you call it, it’s a damn good release and it strengthens Studio One’s case at being a first choice option for many music producers. If S1 added Flextime, I'd never open Logic again. I use Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 to offset the efficiency issues in S1 and Pro Tools, so the plug-in thing isn't an issue. I'm still waiting to see what Logic X may bring, but the more I use S1, the less I worry about it. They're just tools, and if I find that I need something in Logic X, I'll get it.

Just curious, is Flextime somehow different from Audio Bend? They seem almost identical to me.
Studio One Vs Logic Pro X
I should have been more specific. It's all of the pitch over time stuff associated with Flextime. I use the Varispeed effect a lot (it will pitch up or down the entire project (including AU plugins) by a user defined percentage - great for background harmonies, although Melodyne can do much of that. However, if you want to change the pitch of an entire song in one go, Varispeed will get you there. I've also played around with recording a guitar solo pitched and slowed and then returning it to it's normal tempo.
Fl Studio Vs Logic
Logic also has a pitch envelope that allows you to speed up or slow down audio (think tape-stop effects), which in the Mac world is great. There are a number of plugins for the PC that do this, but they're scarce for mac users.Studio One Vs Logic Pro
